making it easily accessable and well worth a visit whilst enroute to
Drumnadrochit. |
The Visitor Centre
It is hard to resist stopping here and enjoying being at this splendid location
with its marvellous backdrop of the Castle silhouetted against the loch and the
hills beyond, the centre contains displays of the castle and military and
domestic artefacts as it was at the time of its inhabitation, a sales area with
locally produced craft work a tearoom complementing the more numerous
facilities in Drumnadrochit and also a film show as well as providing access to
the castle which when seen after learning something of its past gives the
visitor a more meaningful experience. |
